New Cyclone Sally’s arrives with ‘Gale’ force

Due to a successful three months since opening the doors of Cyclone Sally’s, an exciting new menu is about to be launched offering full table service from this Friday.
Owner Jeff Gale, after a mid-career sea change from TV Production, relocated to Port Douglas 24 years ago and launched his career into the restaurant scene in the region.
With 15 years of experience in restaurant ownership in Port Douglas Jeff said “it’s been a tough couple of years in town, but the time is right now with economic factors like the drop in the Australian dollar.”
“We’ve had a period of growth which has done very well for our hamburger menu so we are able to expand to offer full table service and steak dishes. We purchase our beef locally exclusively from Malones Butchery and it’s A grade top quality beef,” said Gale.
The venue ethos is about offering quality service in a casual space where clientele can sit and relax and offers craft beer and wine on tap.
“We’re offering a new approach with full table service rather than at the bar service. With all the success of 2 Fish’s modern seafood cuisine, I am now doing the same with beef, ” said Gale.
Cyclone Sally’s launches their new menu and full table service Friday 11 September.
