It’s that time of year again, where we wear our teams scarves with pride, scream and shout at the big screen, cheering along this years best teams in the NRL and AFL Grand Finals.

NRL favourites North Queensland Cowboys, co-captained by Johnathan Thurston will surely have the local crowds backing. They last played in a NRL Grand Final in 2005 where they were defeated by Sydney’s Wests Tigers 30-16. 

This year two Queensland teams make the journey south, Brisbane Bronco’s and North Queensland Cowboys will go head to head on Sunday at Sydney’s ANZ stadium.

AFL fans will see Luke Hodge lead Melbourne team, Hawthorn Hawks onto the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The huge stadium seats up to 100,000 fans, many of whom will have made the journey from Perth to cheer on the opponents, West Coast Eagles.

Both games will be played on the Big Screen in Estillo Bar at the QT. $5 Carlton Draughts on tap for the AFL game Saturday from 1pm and $5 XXXX on tap for Sundays NRL screening from 6pm.
