The Douglas Heat Basketball Club has an exciting weekend with the TON basketball tournament held at the Port Douglas storm surge and cyclone shelter.

Their kids played in their new "Bendigo Bank" rep uniforms for the first time in Port Douglas. Their ladies and mens representative matches received some excellent praise, forming two senior rep sides inside six months is a fantastic achievement.

PDBC is a Basketball Queensland affiliated club based in Port Douglas. It runs the national Aussie Hoops program for 5-10 year olds, under 12s and under 15 competitions and an adults competition.
