Confirmed break in Four Mile Bottle Shop

UPDATE: An alleged break in at Four Mile Bottle Shop yesterday Wednesday 11th November has been confirmed by Port Douglas Police as having a complex level of expertise.
Police and staff at the scene yesterday were not prepared to comment at the time. Newsport followed up for further details of the incident.
Port Douglas Police Sergeant Damien Meadows confirmed today there was a break in the Four Mile Bottle Shop yesterday.
“It is early stages in the investigation. There was a sophisticated method of entry resulting in several Police lines of enquiry.
“There was a complex level of expertise, not the standard level of criminality,” said Sergeant Meadows.
Sergeant Meadows has requested if anyone saw anything unusual or any vehicles in the vicinity of the scene between the evening of Tuesday 10th November from 10:00pm to the early hours of the morning on Wednesday 11th November, to please report this to Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 or Port Douglas Police Station on 4087 1999.
