A spiritual healing festival at Port Douglas Carnivale will let nature into the hearts of the tired and the stressed.
‘Radiant Life’ is a 2-day lifestyle festival organised by Ella Shannon, formerly of Happy Herb shop in Port Douglas.
It will give visitors a look at Port Douglas’s ‘tropical, healthy lifestyle’ and feature naturally-produced skin care products, clothing, healing modalities and natural massage.
Radiant Life will also feature guest speakers including Samantha ‘Bush Tukka Woman’ Martin, and Bhuddist nun Venerable Rinchin who will discuss the end of life in the Bhuddist philosophy.
Ms Shannon said the need for events like Radiant Life was becoming ever more apparent in today’s stressful society, and Port Douglas was perfectly positioned to cater to that demand.
“We are a spa town - people come here to relax and rejuvenate,” she said.
“People come from all walks of life and they are all interested.
Ms Shannon promised ‘cool music, food and art’ at Radiant Life, along with the offer that the first 50 people to attend would receive a free showbag courtesy of the Happy Herb Company and Go Vita in Cairns.
