The Young Comets played the Young Stars in the 3rd round for Douglas Netball. 

The Comets were strong all over the court from the first siren, the Stars were valiant in there effort. Final score 16-6 with best players Mercedes Ramsay, Ainsley and Bella Musset. 

Port Coconuts played Blue Lightning the little Coconuts scored a goal in the first quarter and 1 in the last with Lightning steady for four quarters.  Final score 12-2 to Lightning with best players Bo-Lily Jenkins and Emma Donaghue. 

Division 4 played the Young Sapphires against the Pythons in the match of the round 4 goals apiece in the first quarter the Sapphires ahead by 2 in the second and third quarter with the Pythons shooting 3 goals late in the last quarter to even the score 9 goals each.  Best players Porshia Peterson, Logan Buzza and Sophie Kirk. 

The Young Gems played the Young Diamonds, the Gems couldn't get the goals in despite 3 attempts, the Diamonds shot steadily for four quarters winning 9-2 with best players Kerri Brennan, Kacy Baxter and Edie Thurtell.

Division 2 played Young Guns 2 against Tiddas, the Tiddas were 2 up in the first quarter and continued to lead for the next 3 quarters, Guns 2 redeemed themselves matching Tiddas 11 goals each in the last.  Tiddas with the win 44-33 with best & fairest Madeleine Fielding. 

Aftershock played Rattle 2, Aftershock were brilliant in the first quarter shooting 9 goals but the Rattle team settled and took the game 48-13 with best & fairest Faith Kemper.

Young Guns 3 played Strikers with the Guns experience showing against the Strikers this is their first year in the senior comp. Guns with the win 38-16 with best & fairest Daisy Hawkes.

The final game for Div. 2 was played between the Stingers and the Gunnars, the Gunnars started strongly with the Stingers shooting well 12 to 3 in the second quarter neck and neck to the end with the Stingers by a goal 33-32 best & fairest Carolyn Aston.

Crocs 2 played Spot On the Crocs showed great team work taking the game 34'-16 with best & fairest John Van Ewyk.

Division 1 played Crocs 1 against Twenty 20, the Twenty 20 girls put in a great effort against the Crocs.  The Crocs with the win 50-34 with best & fairest Kristen Ramsey. 

The Cougars played Rattle 1, the Cougars excelled from the first centre pass and didn't give Rattle an inch.  Cougars in a convincing win 49-16 with best & fairest Brianna Conrad. 

Young Guns 1 played Dynamite, Dynamite matched the Guns in the first quarter just a goal down but Guns 1 kept the pressure on to take the win 41-16 with best & fairest Lana Baxter. 

Thanks to the teams, control , canteen and umpires for being at the games and ready to start on time. 

Next week the first senior time slot is 6pm for a 6.15 start and the second time slot 7.15 for a 7.30 start.
