Douglas Netball Association started the season for 2015 last Tuesday at Port Courts. With 16 teams this year, DNA are running two time slots and four courts.  

Division 1 put last year's premiers Cougars against Dynamite.

The Cougars' experience took them the game 36-17 with Lara Lewis namedbest and fairest.

Young Guns 2 played Rattle 2 in a fast paced matchup, with Rattle scoring the 3 points, the game ending 25-21 and best and fairest awarded to Robyn Buick. 

The 7:45 time slot saw Crocs 1 play Rattle 1, the Crocs in top form won 37-16 with best & fairest Kristen Ramsey. 

The Tiddas played Gunnars in a tight contest, with the Tiddas stepping up a notch to take the game 42-26 with best and fairest awarded to Renna Sayed.  In the final game the Strikers played the Mixed team - despite a great effort by Strikers, the Mixed team won 28-8 with best & fairest Jemma Fasano. 

The Juniors played their last games for the term and the Seniors will play next Tuesday.
