Despite wet weather stopping some play, it was another fun fortnight of golf at Mossman Golf Club. 

Mossman Golf Club’s Tuesday 10th February Court House Hotel stableford event was won by Russell Hooker with 40 points ahead of Bernie Boon 36 and Don Demler 35.

NTP’s – Wilson Christensen and Russell Hooker took the honours on 8, 13 & 17.

Wednesday’s Sporters 9 hole event was won by Don Demler with 19 points.

On Thursday, the Ladies event was won by Rachael Byrne with 39 points ahead of Liz Green 33 on a count-back to Glenda Christensen.

Wet conditions prevented competition play on Black Friday and over the weekend.

On Tuesday 17th February, the Court House Hotel Par event was won by George Page +1 on a count-back to Dennis Blake.

NTP’s – Peter “Jock” Constantine, John White, Dennis Blake and John Deuble.

Wednesday’s Sporters 9 hole event was won again by Don Demler with 20 points.

NTP’s – Kerri-Lynn Williams and Barry Costain had a brilliant shot to 26 cms.

On Thursday, the Ladies Par event was won by Treveen Page with +1 ahead of Dixie Dennis even and Liz Green -1.

Friday’s nine hole event sponsored by Mossman Butchering Co was won by James Dineen with 22 points ahead of Brendon Wood 20 and Bill McCarthy.

The Men’s Saturday stableford event was won by Peter Horsby with 38 points on a count-back to Ian Prewitt and in 3rd place Russell Hore 37 followed by John Cameron 36.

The Ladies event was won by Julie Hooker with 33 points ahead of Shona Barbour 32 and Judy McCormack 31.
