Facebook users in Port Douglas, Mowbray and Cape Tribulation are reporting thefts of vehicles and camera equipment in the last few days.

A white 2005 dual cab Toyota Hilux with registration number was reported stolen from Savannah Close between 2 and 4pm on Thursday on the page.

It follows the reporting of the theft of a four-wheeler motorbike from Mowbray on either the night of February 16 or the morning of February 17.

Additionally a timelapse camera worth over $3000 used by a film crew producing the 'Paradise through your Lens' campaign disappeared around midnight after it was left set up on the side of Camelot Close on Wednesday night.
