After 10 days of fun and frivolity on the road, the bright and boisterous bunch of variety bashes, had a chance to unwind and celebrate the successes of the past 25 years in Port Douglas over the weekend.

The annual Variety Bash is Australia's most successful charity motoring event. It is the focal point of fund raising efforts by many hundreds of supporters of Variety, with the money raised helping to empower children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs to live, laugh and learn.

This year, the group of wildly themed entrants covered over 4,300 kilometres, travelling through tiny towns where their cars outnumber the locals. 300 entrants and over 100 colourfully themed cars celebrate the end of the event in Port Douglas.
