For anyone in the hospitality industry Tropical Thursday’s are the nights for a tiki terrific time at QT Port Douglas.
Introducing the newest addition to the repertoire of weekly events at Estilo – Tropical Thursday will bring some hula-cool to Port Douglas to warm up your tropical weekends in quirky QT style.
Tropical Thursday has quietly been gaining momentum for the last few weeks and is a celebration of all things tropical with live local bands, a specially designed Tiki cocktail list featuring rum-based favourites, and prizes for the best and loudest Hawaiian print shirt. Tropical Thursday will be a weekly instalment at Estilo and will run from 5pm to 9pm every Thursday. For hospitality trade and tourism crew there’s extra incentive for discounted selected beverages on presentation of staff ID.
“We’ll be turning up the tropical factor for Tropical Thursday, and creating a tiki oasis every week at Estilo”, says QT Port Douglas PR & Events Coordinator Sharon Timms. “Estilo has always exuded a certain relaxed charm that is perfectly matched to the cheeky, laid-back and casually sexy hula culture. For Tropical Thursday we’re bottling that vibe and serving it up in rum based Tiki drinks and an exciting live music program including Shannon Hunter, Tee Ketu, Fingerprint and singer-songwriter Drewboy.
”Tropical Thursday is joining Taco Tuesday, Wing It Wednesday and a variety of other weekly promotions at Estilo that ensure QT Port Douglas retains its position as the leader of all things fun, style, luxury and entertainment in the Far North. With a selection of other exciting developments and events scheduled to debut over the year, QT resort is the place to see and be seen in Port Douglas.
