Well, here we are, ready, for the Port Douglas Crocs' first home game of the 2015 season this Saturday 11th April.  This is what all the hard work, training and recruiting is for!

The day begins with the Reserves side kicking off at 1pm.  Following the reserves game we’ll be unfurling our 2014 Premiership Flags. 

At 3pm  we can expect the Seniors to produce a great spectacle against last year's preliminary finalists South Cairns.

There will be plenty of excitement around the ground, and we want our loyal supporters to be there to witness this event, along with our sponsors and dignitaries.  Make sure you don't miss it.

At the first 200 Club for the 2015 season we are looking forward to having an opportunity to meet with sponsors and special guests.  Thankyou to Port BBQ Chickens and Take-Away, Dave and Leanne, for providing our luncheon for this week.  It is very much appreciated!  John Cameron will be there  for you to sign up for this season if you haven't already, and club shirts will of course, be available.  

  Our raffles will be on as always, and look out for the special tray of organic pork, donated by Joe Warren from Cooktown.  A great Aussie Rules supporter, you will be able to meet him while he is cooking the spit roast for our evening meal!  Keep an eye out for Paul Scott who is likely to be giving a hand too.

After the final siren is blown the festivities will continue with a special first home game after-match function.    Everyone is invited to stay on at the Croc Pit for the spit-roasted pig  which will be served soon after 6pm.  Cost is $10 for a great feed of organic roast pork.  We have managed to get outstanding muso Shannon, of Timber and Wood fame to come along and provide us with a fabulous evening of live music.   All are welcome and it is sure to be a great night.

This is a very important day for our club and I urge you to be there.  Don’t forget that that we’ll be having a huge night tomorrow night to announce a game 1 team.  Be there and have a great $8 normierobbie feed and say g’day to the new breed of Croc Champs.
