Inspired by the traditional Spanish fiesta, QT Port Douglas’ Sunday event Estilo Domingo, the Spanish translation of ‘Stylish Sundays’, has been bringing people together for la camilona, ‘the feast’, since 2013.

This Sunday September 14th, almost a year to the day since the launch of the first event, Estilo Domingo has been refreshed and is set to re-establish its position at Port Douglas’ most stylish Sunday session.

From midday, Estilo Domingo’s popular Spanish BBQ boards will be served al fresco; featuring smokey BBQ pork shoulder cooked live from the Estilo BBQ by QT chefs alongside flour tortillas, cobb salsa, potatoes bravas and grilled corn on the cob.

Estilo bartenders will continue to concoct their famous Sangria jugs for a thirst-quenching afternoon tipple, to be enjoyed whilst lounging in the sun in a booth, or whilst taking a dip in QT’s crystal clear lagoon pool.

Between 1pm and 4pm guests will be entertained by local musician Tee, who brings her talent to the deck with a chilled, acoustic vibe that is perfect for whiling the afternoon away.

It’s QT’s stylish version of the traditional Sunday session!” said QT PR & Events Coordinator Emily Byrne. “The BBQ boards and Sangria jugs have become a popular signature of the event, but we’ve raised the bar and have tweaked the entertainment offering in preparation of a long hot summer.
