Newsport Publishing has moved offices from its old location at Macrossan Street to a new venue at the corner of Wharf and Inlet Streets, directly across from the Reef Marina. 

Affiliated website tourismportdouglas.com has also moved with The Newsport and will now be headquartered at the new location. 

All products of Newsport Publishing, including The Newsport Daily digital local newspaper, the Port Douglas Magazine and Port Douglas Business Awards will be centred at the new office.

Newsport Publishing managing director Sam Cullen said the move allowed the company greater access to both locals and visitors to the area, and also made room for future expansion.

"Right now we are still settling into the new location but we are looking forward to continuing to provide up-to-date, relevant local news and quality products such as the Port Douglas Magazine," Mr Cullen said.
