On December 5th, The Douglas Business Awards are being hosted at the Sheraton Mirage, Port Douglas and tickets are already selling like hotcakes!  But that's only part of the process. 

There are only 3 weeks left for customers and local businesses to get their votes registered.  The closing date for voting is Monday 3rd November.  

After the overwhelming 29,000 votes cast last year, the vote recording has been converted to a data entry system online.  All entries whether
postal, by hand or online are now entered into the Awards database to ensure even finer tuned accuracy.

Naturally all businesses in the region are welcome to the Gala Awards evening but it makes it even more exciting when you know you are in the top ten finalists in your relevant category.

And next week we will be posting online the latest Top Ten finalist list to give everyone a first look at where they are featuring in the voting.
