A 35-year-old man has been charged with public nuisance, drunk driving and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle after an incident in Mossman on Sunday night.

Mossman police said the man had been involved in an altercation outside a licensed premises on Front Street at about 10:30pm before entering his vehicle and ramming the back of another vehicle.

The rammed vehicle was pushed up onto the walkway of Front Street.

Both vehicles received minor damage, according to police.

The man is due to appear in Mossman Courthouse on June 18.
