Under 8s:

No evidence of a Food and Wine hangover at the croc pit on Sunday, as the mighty Port Douglas Crocs Under 8s played a fine four-quarter effort against the Central Bulldogs.

In perfect conditions and lead beautifully by game-day captain Oscar, the boys piled on the goals and never looked back.

Right from the opening bounce - 21 little crocs played with passion and were eager to put one monster performance in front of a pack home crowd.

Their skills and the team work and enthusiasm displayed over 4 quarters was a real highlight and very much appreciated by the large vocal home crowd who got their money's worth.

Coach’s awards went to young guns Jet, Nicko, Sam, Campbell and little Mal Meninga look-alike Lochy.

Under 9s:

What a day for football at the Croc Pitt this week, the under 9’s led the way with a great four quarter effort by the whole team.

Our teamwork is improving every week and this week was no exception, led by Captain Jack, they stopped Centrals Blue from scoring, got it out of the middle and drove it into the forward line to kick a number of goals.

Player of the day went to Ethan and awards went to Dargan, Luke and our little under 8s champ Lochlan.
