Men's Results

In pairs competition on Saturday, A Christie and D Blain defeated G Bolton and P Janssen 24-10.

In social bowls, Ted Pitt and Rangi def. R Gard and G Wilmot 24-21, J Bremmer, R Edwards and Kiwi def. T Holmes P Gorsuch and Doug Pitt 22-11, and the big winners were M Boundy and C Maxted who defeated T Pisot and P Cleary 39-9.

On Sunday, a very close game saw J Cook narrowly defeat G Mclean in a nail bitting battle. In handicap singles A Christie defeated G Bolton.

Next Saturday will be the Club Classic Threes competition commencing at 9:00am. On Sunday handicap singles continue with B Carney to play R North and Doug Pitt to play E Smith. 

Ladies' Results

Congratulations to West Cairns on winning the TFNQDLBA Championship Fours. Our Mossman ladies acquitted themselves admirably.

Championship singles winners were Janice Brlyack defeating Dorothy Slater (15-7), Greta Kessler defeated  Carole Maxted (25-21).

This week's games are Greta Kessler versus Bev Zillfleisch with marker Carole Maxted, Val Robinson v's Maria Mijo with marker Glenise Sharpe, Joan Day v's Maree Crees with marker Dorothy Slater.

Social bowls was won by Denise Highland, Val Robinson, Maria Mijo  and Glenn Lepp (two wins).
