Men's Results

Pairs championships continued on Saturday with D Egan and Rangi defeating Eden and Doug Pitt, while reigning champs G McLean and Kiwi defeated R Ashford and N Tesch.

In social bowls, A Douglas, A Christie and B Wolland def. T Holmes, Zilly and D Blain, G Marsh, Ted Pitt and L Valentine def. B Kearney, G Bolton and P Gorsuch, and Hock Jnr, C Dwyer and E Smith defeated F Dailey, Dick Pitt and R North.

In A grade competition on Sunday, E Smith def. Doug Pitt, D Blain def. Kiwi and D Egan Def. P Janssen.

Pairs competition continues next Saturday with P Janssen and G Bolton to play A Christie and D Blain. Social bowls will also be played commencing at 1:00pm.

On Sunday, B grade singles will be played between G Wilmot and P Cleary, G McLean and J Cook. Handicap singles will see G Bolton play A Christie.
 
Ladies' Results
 
Twenty one ladies enjoyed the Mona Carson Day.

The winners were: Spiders - Greta Kessler and Margaret Cooper. Lucky Spots - Margaret Cooper (1st), Val Sharpe (2nd), Betty McClelland (3rd), Robyn Petrus (4th). Janice Brlyack won the raffle.
 
Games winners were Margaret Cooper, Joan Day, Maureen Tucker (1st). Fiona Kempton, Sonia Edwards, Dorothy Slater and Denise Highland were runners-up.

Carmen Bolton, Zina Girgenti, Robyn Petrus took third place with the encouragement award going to Gloria Geeves, Val Robinson, Maria Mijo and Bev Zillfleisch.

Thursday (20th) is the start of the Championship singles.
