Baby Crocs tamed by little Lions

Played in perfect conditions with the slight distraction of low flying planes, the mighty Crocs under eights played a solid four quarter effort against a bigger Cairns City Lions team at Holloways Beach on Sunday morning.
After a slow start, the team woke up and showed some impressive team play. Dennis the Menace look-alike, Sam, led from the front and was well supported by Oscar, Jetson and game day captain Tyler.
Back in defence and preventing many Lion attacks, young Lachlan showed why he will be in AFL recruiters little black books with a fine game.
The mosquito fleet of Sando, Lenny, Nick, Campbell and first gamer Xavier zipped in and around and kept the large crowd entertained.
Up forward, Jai snagged a long bomb to keep the Crocs in the match and the forward pressure applied from Jessiah and Mark was outstanding.
Coach’s awards went to Jai, Sam, Xavier and Tyler.
