Wet weather failed to put a dampener on the Cairns Ironman endurance race on Sunday.
Port Douglas was the turnaround point for the race's grueling bike leg, with crowds braving the cold drizzle to cheer on riders as they came through Macrossan Street.
New Zealander Cameron Brown was the top Ironman for the day with a total time of eight hours, 20 minutes and 15 seconds.
Liz Blatchford was the fastest Ironwoman on nine hours, 22 minutes and 53 seconds.
