Mossman Golf Club players continue to enjoy perfect play with great fields participating in Club events.

On Tuesday, The Court House Hotel voucher winner was Ian Prewitt with 46 points ahead of Barry Brims 39 on a count-back to Jesse Hore.

NTP’s –  Mal Phillips, Wayne Dowell, Paul McMahon, Mark Geddes & Ian Steley.

Wednesday’s Sporters 9 hole event was won by Rod Donovan with 21 points ahead of Helen Gabour 19 and Paul Firth 18.

NTP’s – Noel Foard & Bob Hoskin.

Thursday’s Ladies event was won by Shirley Carney with 40 points ahead of Bette Wells 29 and Julie Hooker 37.

NTP’s – Virginia Goodall, Helen Gabour, Margery Boyce & Kerri-Lynn Williams.

Friday’s 9 hole event was won by Mick Lancaster.

Saturday Division I was won by Keith Gard 36 points ahead of Ian Prewitt 35.

Division II was won by Steve Warden 41 points ahead of Jesse Hore 39.

NTP’s – Lloyd Redpath, Bill McCarthy, Mark Geddes, Graham Lomax & Simon Nelson.

The Ladies event was won by Glenda Christensen with 35 points ahead of Shona Barbour 34 on a count-back to Judy McCormack and Jenny Rowell.

NTP’s – Jenny Rowell, Linda Hodgson, Lyn Heimann & Julie Hooker on 13 & 17.

On Sunday, Matty Coulthard was victorious with 36 points ahead of Mick Lancaster 35 on a count-back to Bill McCarthy & Jo Constantine.

A local echidna wandered on to the course late in the afternoon, but although it had more points than any of the players, it missed out on the prizes.

Nominations are invited for the Mossman Quicksilver Open to be held on 19th & 20th July 2014.

Club Championships are now to be held on 2nd, 3rd, 9th & 10th August 2014.
