Northern Pride names co-captains

Sea Swift Northern Pride has announced the appointment of the Intrust Super Cup club's first co-captains, Brett Anderson and Jason Roos.
Centre Anderson, 27, and hooker Roos, 29, have played 203 games between them since the club’s inaugural season in 2008, and will take charge for the 2014 season.
It is the first time the Pride has appointed co-captains, with Chris Sheppard (2008-2010) and Ty Williams (2011-2013) previously leading out the Barlow Park team.
Both players are born and bred in Far North Queensland, with Anderson hailing from Innisfail and Roos from Mareeba.
