Men's Results

Another entertaining afternoon of men’s Jackpot bowls on Saturday saw Keith Pitt, Kiwi and C Maxted def. S Parkes, T Brylack and R Parkes 23-19, G Bolton and B Wolland def. G Marsh and R Edwards 21-15, B Kearney and N Tesch def. Morrie and P Gorsuch 32-15 and the big winners were J Bremmer and E Smith who defeated Zilly and R Gard 27-9.

Updating this year’s club championship results, the A Grade final went to B Wolland, B Grade N Tesch, Handicap B Wolland. Club selected threes final went to D Blain, P Gorsuch and P Morrison while the fours went to C Maxted, E Smith, Kiwi and P Janssen. The final in the pairs competition will be played within the next few weeks and the date for the presentation day will be posted shortly.

Registrations for this year’s club competitions are now open so please register with the staff as soon as possible.

In the meantime, social bowls continue on Saturdays with registrations closing at midday for a 1:00pm start and mufti dress is OK until formal competition re-commences. It’s a great time of the year to come and give bowls a go in an informal and friendly atmosphere so come along and see what your missing.
