Men's Results
 
It was a big day for social bowls on Saturday with visiting teams from Edge Hill and Gordonvale making up full rinks all round under the Big Top.

The visitors were the big winners of the afternoon when W Hewitt, D Spowart and J Walker defeated W Petrihilos, D Laycock and A Muller 27-11.

Updating this year’s club championship results, the A Grade final went to B Wolland, B Grade N Tesch, Handicap B Wolland.

Club selected threes final went to D Blain, P Gorsuch and P Morrison while the fours went to C Maxted, E Smith, Kiwi and P Janssen.

The final in the pairs competition will be played within the next few weeks and the date for the presentation day will be posted shortly.

Registrations for this year’s club competitions are now open so please register with the staff as soon as possible.

This Saturday, Mossman Memorial Bowls Club will host the District finals of the Super Challenge commencing at 8:30am. The event will see some of the best teams/players in the region slog it out in what will be some memorable games. Spectators are welcome so come and see some great competition.

Social bowls will not be played on Saturday but will resume on 26th January.
 

Ladies Results
 
Ten ladies bowled on Thursday and the winners were Maureen Tucker and Zina Girgenti (+33). The raffle winner was Barbara May.

Ladies, please note names are to in by 12.00 noon for 1.00pm start. Please keep an eye on the board for competition news.

The selectors for this month are Kaye Dean and Bev Zillfleisch.
