Men's Results

It was a great atmosphere at social bowls on Saturday and the last day of mufti dress for this holiday season.

In a close game, Rangi and Doug Pitt def. P Bunt and C Maxted 22-20, Zilly and D Blain def. B Kearney and E Smith 21-16, J Bremmer and N Tesch def. A Christie and P Cleary 22-15, R North and L Valentine def. G March and Kiwi, and the meat trays went to G Wilmot and P Gorsuch who defeated D Egan and C Andreassen 25-12.

Next Saturday will see the final of the Men’s Pairs competition, when G Wilmot and R Ashford will play G McLean and The Kiwi. Social bowls will also commence at 1.00pm so please register by midday to avoid disappointment.

Saturday, February 8 will be the men's presentation day following a 10-end social game commencing at the usual time of 1.00pm with registrations closing at midday.
 

Ladies Results

Aren't we thankful to have a lovely 'dome' over the green after Thursday's rain!

The eighteen ladies who enjoyed their bowls were most appreciative. The winners were Janice Brlyack and Dorothy Slater (2w+22). Betty McClelland was the surprised raffle winner.

There was a special presentation for Maureen Tucker on receiving her 'Super Veterans' badge.

Please get your names for competitions to Greta Burke and on the 27th February the ladies are having a 'Friendship Day' so please bring a friend along to enjoy that day.
