Men's Results

A very enjoyable afternoon was had by all at the men’s presentation day on Saturday.

The 2013 results were: A Grade Champion B Wolland, B Grade Champion N Tesch, Handicap Champion B Wolland, Pairs Champions D Beaumont and G McLean, Threes Champions P Morrison, P Gorsuch and D Blain, Fours Champions P Janssen, D Beaumont, E Smith and C Maxted.

In social bowls on Saturday, Morrie, B Kearney and Doug Pitt def. F Daily, C Dwyer and P Cleary 12-7, A Douglas and D Egan def. G McLean and C Maxted 13-6, P Janssen, G Bolton and E Smith def. Woody, Zilly and Kiwi 19-11. The winners of the day were A Christie, Ted Pitt and P Gorsuch who defeated J Bremmer, G Wilmot and N Tesch 19-7.

Next Saturday, Mossman will host TNQBA competitions commencing at 9:00am. It will be an excellent opportunity to see some of the regions’ best bowlers in action and spectators are welcome. Social bowls will also be played at the usual starting time of 1:00pm with registrations closing at midday.

Ladies Results

Sixteen ladies bowled and the winners were Maree Crees and Dorothy Slater (2w+12). Janice was once again the lucky raffle winner.
