Saturday saw three target shooters turn out for an afternoon shoot despite the muddy conditions and the prolific barrage of sandflies with otherwise perfect shooting conditions.
Norbert Schmidt was the only contender in the F class comp scoring 114.2 from a possible 126.
Neil Attwood took honours in the Full Bore comp with a double range score of 99/6 followed by Rick Mischlewski on 93/2 from a possible 105.
All the shooters had a difficult time with the small 300 meter range target which is about 50 centimeters across with the center bull measuring 2.5 cm hence the number after the forward slash.
The Club would like to thank our stalwart, Ron Schild for marking the targets. The Club meets every Saturday at the range situated half way between Port Douglas and Mossman on the Cook Highway at 1.00 pm, all welcome.
