Lions to enter the Croc Pit for night game

Lions to enter the Croc Pit for night game

Tuesday April 15 2014

I hope you all survived the cyclone and it's back to business.

As you now know our game against Manunda Hawks over the weekend was cancelled to be played a later date.

Just an update on several dates and events.

The Crocs train tonight and Tuesday followed by Normie and Rob's dinner.

We play on Easter Thursday against Cairns City Lions in what will be a cracker of a game.

They have recruited well this year.

The games are at 6 pm for the reserves and 8 pm for the seniors.

The 200 club dinner will be held at approx 7.30 pm which will be at three quarter time of the reserves.

Our final recruits have hit town and we will nearly be at full strength.

On a sadder note, ex-committeeman Bomber Brown's funeral will be at 1 pm this Wednesday at St Mary's church followed by a drink or two at the Croc Pit at 2 pm.

Bomber requested that we all make a attempt to dress in red and black as he was a  tragic Essendon supporter.

I hope you can make the funeral and show your appreciation for his support to our club.

If any one can help by jumping behind the bar or helping serve food please contact me on 0408985372.

I hope to see you all at the game.
