Mossman Golf course produced another hole in one last Thursday for Rogo Horrocks of Cairns enjoying her game with another 83 lady golfers.

Rogo and ladies from around the FNQ District enjoyed their annual interclub at Mossman, and many thanks go to the generous sponsors who supported this event.

The Lucy Giles Monthly Medal was won by Cheryl Revell nett 71, and the putting competition went to Patti Graham on a count-back.

Div I Evie Golightly, runner up Ruth Yelland.

Div II Cheryl Revell, runner up Bella Swann.

Div III Alice Nurthen, runner up Sue Ferry.

Nett winners:Div I Lyn Small, runner up Cecily Atkinson.

Div II Kelly Holl, runner up Cheryl Piccone.

Div III Suda Woodward, runner up Leonie Phillips.

Nearest The Pins went to Joy Green, Shirley Carney, Tricia Batkin, Kelly Holl and the hole in one for Rogo Horrocks.  

Friday’s nine hole event was won by Helen Whitburn with 19 points.

Saturday’s Demi View Monthly Medal was won by Dave Addison with nett 70, runner up was Matty Smith with a 71.

Gross winner in the A Grade Dan Coulthard, Art Howard in the B Grade and Matty Smith in the C Grade.

Nett Winner in the A Grade was Dave Nesbit, B Grade’s was Geoff Goodwin and C Grade Dave Addison, while nearest to the pin were Zac Hore, Bruce Cheesman, Peter Hornsby, Wayne Dowell and Dave Nesbit.

The Ladies Carly Q Hair and Makeup Monthly Medal was won by Julie Hooker on nett 71 ahead of Tricia Landy, who also won the putting competition.

Ladies nearest the pins went to Lyn Heimann and Julie Hooker.

On Sunday, Rick Weimar won the Stableford event with 42 points, while Tuesday’s Mens Bluewater Marina Monthly Medal was won by Steve Warden on 69 nett ahead of Ian Steley (71) and Brendon Wood (72).

Nearest to the pin were Kym Copland, James Browne (2), Wayne Dowell and Laurie Prosser.

Wednesday’s nine hole Sporters was won by Dennis Blake 18 points.
