The SeaFM TriPort Triathlon Festival will be held this Saturday 7th September, 2013 in the Douglas region.

More than 300 athletes and their support crew will descend upon the region, many coming from regions surrounding Douglas, including the Atherton Tablelands, Cassowary Coast and Weipa, as well as Brisbane and Sydney.

There will be changes to traffic conditions which are necessary to provide for the safety of all participants.

9:00am - 2:00pm Saturday, 7 September:

• Syndicate Road access to local traffic only
• Speed reduction on Captain Cook Highway between Port Douglas and Mossman
• Road closure on Garrick Street between Mowbray and Blake - local traffic only
• One lane closure on Mowbray Street between Davidson and Garrick
