Mark Howard to play Paddy's
Mark Howard plays Paddy’s this weekend
Mark Howard, lead singer and guitarist of Melbourne rock indie band, Bridgewater, plays this weekend at Paddy’s Irish Bar in Port Douglas.
Performing solo and acoustic, Howard will be giving listeners the unique opportunity to hear his tracks stripped back and intimate and to help celebrate the band's latest single 'Get Down'.
Since the release of their self-titled debut album in late 2012, Bridgewater have racked-up a flourish of downloads through online distributors and Spotify. Tracks from the album have also received airplay on Rage, Triple R, 3PBS, SYN FM and regional stations, and the band had been receiving good reviews from print media and is attracting large audiences at their shows.
With their sound likened to Fleetwood Mac and The Black Crows, their biggest influences are The Rolling Stones and The Beatles.
Supported by their rising popularity, the band recently released their latest single titled Get Down available now through iTunes, Band Camp, Reverbnation and all good online retailers.
Mark Howard plays Paddy’s Irish Bar on Saturday, September at 7pm and Sunday, September 8 from 4pm. Entry is free.
