Police are appealing for community assistance to help identify a man who may be able to assist with their investigation into burglary and fraud incidents at Port Douglas resorts in August.

Two separate burglary incidents occurred at resorts on Port Douglas Road and Davidson Street at Port Douglas in late August, where wallets, cameras and other personal items were stolen. 

Stolen credit cards linked to both burglary incidents were then used to buy goods from at least nine businesses in the Cairns area. 

Investigators believe that the man in the images may be able to assist with their inquiries.
