Thursday, November 14

Perth Wildcats v Cairns Taipans
Perth Arena
NBL.tv - 10pm AEDST

Perth hosts the Cairns Taipans with the Wildcats coming off a 13-day break. They head into the game as the only unbeaten team in the competition, sitting on top of the ladder with a perfect 6-0 record. They will be looking to extend that to seven straight against a Taipans outfit that suffered a heavy away loss to Sydney last weekend. Cairns will be leaning on their imports Jamar Wilson and Demetri McCamey to combat the most powerful overseas duo in the league right now – Miami Heat draft pick James Ennis and Jermaine Beal. The Wildcats also welcome back towering centre Matt Knight for his first game of the season. Cameron Gliddon returns from injury for Cairns.

Friday, November 15

New Zealand Breakers v Adelaide 36ers
Vector Arena, Auckland
NBL.tv 5:30pm AEDST

The three-time champions haven’t enjoyed the start to their title defence they would have liked but a return to their home court at Vector Arena in Auckland should have the New Zealand Breakers primed to produce their best against the Adelaide 36ers. Veteran guard Daryl Corletto plays career game 350. The 36ers have been one of the form teams of 2013/14, sitting second on the ladder after five rounds. The in-form Gary Ervin and Adam Gibson will pose problems for the Breakers.

Sydney Kings v Townsville Crocodiles
Sydney Entertainment Centre
NBL.tv 7:30pm AEDST
ONE HD 9:30pm AEDST

This is a battle of the two most impressive winners of round five with Sydney hosting Townsville. The Crocodiles kept themselves in touch with the top four with an impressive win over the Breakers at the Swamp. Import Brian Conklin was in imposing form, pouring in 33 points with assistance from Josh Pace. The Kings found their best form at home against the Taipans with last year’s MVP runner-up Ben Madgen enjoying his best game since returning from an ankle injury, draining 31 points in a best on court display. The Crocodiles will also have to contain AJ Ogilvy who is mounting a strong MVP case with several dominant performances to start 2013/14.

Melbourne Tigers v Cairns Taipans

State Netball & Hockey Centre, Melbourne
NBL.tv 7:30pm AEDST

This is the second leg of an arduous road trip for the struggling Taipans, who are backing up from a Thursday night game in Perth. They face a Melbourne Tigers line-up ignited by the sensational form of guard Chris Goulding. Despite missing the opening round of the season with an ankle injury suffered during the pre-season tournament, Goulding sits atop the individual points-scoring leader board through a string of consistent performances. Boomers star Mark Worthington is also bouncing back to his best, presenting a tough assignment for the travelling Taipans.

Sunday, November 17

Wollongong Hawks v Perth Wildcats
WIN Entertainment Centre, Wollongong
TEN 2pm AEDST
NBL.tv 2pm AEDST

The second game in a weekend double for the Wildcats and just a fortnight after their last meeting with the Hawks. On that occasion Perth restricted Wollongong to just 47 points in a 40-point thumping. But the Hawks are back on their home court and showed significant improvement in last weekend’s narrow loss to the Tigers. They will be looking to their import Rotnei Clarke to trouble the imposing Perth Wildcats.
