Top evening at Port Fusion
About 120 guests from some 60 local businesses got together on Tuesday at the newly opened Coco's Restaurant and Bar to enjoy the first Port Fusion business networking evening of 2013.
It must have been something to do with the release of the pressure from the intensity of the 'De-Amalgamation'campaign that would explain why everyone was in the mood to party.
Krystal and Daniel and the team at Coco’s Restaurant helped get the party started with a fantastic spread of canapes. They really got behind the event with all the guests enjoying the ambience and style of their newly refurbished venue.
Matt and Deb Poole from Wine Divas brought along a superb selection from their wine suppliers portfolio and guests were encouraged to taste the wines and offer their feedback. From the constant flow of participants to their tasting area it looked like the feedback was very positive.
These informal gatherings are designed to accommodate networking opportunities for members of local businesses and their colleagues who are linked directly and indirectly to tourism to get together and chat through new ideas, make new contacts and maybe just putting faces to names.
The evening was again organised by Tara Bennett and Kirsten Taylor.
"We were delighted with such a big turnout. The Coco's team hosted the event really well and having Wine Divas and their superb wines just added that little something to the evening". said Tara and Kirsten.
There are plans to organise another evening later in the year. We'll bring details as soon as dates are confirmed.
