Douglas Netball has already hit Week 3 and the Junior teams are just about sorted. All new players are being taught the basics of netball to ready them for the competition proper starting at the beginning of Term 2.

It is great to see so many Juniors putting their hands up to learn to umpire and take on coaching roles, with many now teaching the younger age groups the skills they have learned over their years of playing.

There are still some vacancies in the teams so if you would like to play in this great team sport come along and give netball a try.

The Senior competition has 12 teams to date, and there are still vacancies in some these teams so a few more players would be fantastic. Come along and join a team.  

The competition will be played in three divisions when the fixture starts next term.  

The round robin competition started this week, and grading has now started to finalise the divisions.
