On Tuesday evening between midnight and 7am the Rifle and Archery Clubs along the Mossman Road/Capt Cook Highway were broken into. 

Apparently the thieves came prepared using a cordless grinder to cut the padlocks off both the Archery Clubs metal containers and the Rifle Club storage area. 

Over 200 arrows and bows were stolen plus two whipper snippers, and chain saw. 

Fortunately no guns or ammunition are kept on site.  Police would like to hear from anyone who was passing to help with their enquiries.
