Port Fusion meeting Tuesday
The next Port Fusion networking meeting is coming up at a brand new venue and is sure to attract the usual number of enthusiasts.
The next meeting is set for tomorrow, Tuesday March 19, from 5pm-7pm at the new Coco’s Bar and Grill, Macrossan Street (formerly Kitchen Bar & Grill and Mango Jam).
Organiser, Tara Bennett, said the meetings, which started in 2009, presented networking opportunities for members of local businesses and their colleagues linked directly and indirectly to tourism.
“This can assist with developing business relationships, forging new alliances and simply having the chance to catch up with people you may spend most of the year communicating with via phone or email,” Ms Bennett said. “The casual Port Fusion networking style allows people to mingle and connect with ease.”
Past events have attracted between 50 and 80 people at various locations around town, with this month’s Port Fusion, which is also supported by boutique wine agents, Wine Divas, being the group’s eighth event.
“Port Fusion events are all about supporting the business community so holding this event at the newly launched Coco’s Bar & Grill is a perfect fit for what we are trying to achieve” Ms Bennett said.
“I can’t wait to see what they have done to the space and look forward to sampling some exciting wines from the Wine Divas team. Krystal and Daniel at Coco’s have really got behind the event and are looking forward to showcasing their new style.”
The event is free to attend; a cash bar and nibbles will be provided. Register your interest at pdfusion@gmail.com
