Last Tuesday’s Mens 4BBB Stableford event was won by George Page and Peter Fitzgerald with 46 points ahead of John Caswell and Brett Jurie with 44 points on a count-back to Peter Hornsby and Matty Smith.

Nearest the pins were Art Howard on 6, Tano Caltabiano on 8, John Caswell on 13 and George on 17.

The 9 hole Sporters last Wednesday was won by Ron Smith with 23 points ahead of Kerri-Lynn Williams with 20 points. Nearest the pins were Ron on 13 and Sammy Brischetto on 17.

Last Thursday’s Ladies Par event was won by Yvonne Bochow with -2 on a count-back to Lyn Heimann and Cathy Campbell in third place on a count-back to Virginia Goodall.

Nearest the pins were Cathy on 6 on 13, Bette Wells on 8, Shona Barbour on 10 on Trish Landy on 17.

Fortunately, the heavy rain on Saturday morning missed the golf course and the overcast conditions were quite pleasant for players.

The Stabelford event winner was Antony Croser with 42 points ahead of John Norris with 37 on a count-back to Bill McCarthy and Wayne Baxter. Nearest the pins were Bill Everingham on 6, Geoff Goodwin on 8, Bill McCarthy on 10, Kim Copland on 13 and Wayne Dowell on 17.

In the Ladies event, Bev Cowe won with 33 points ahead of Trish Landy with 31. Nearest the pins were Bev on 6, Trish on 8 and Shona Barbour on 13 and 17.

Sunday’s beautiful weather encouraged players to enjoy the course, and the winner was Des Graham with 37 points ahead of Patti Graham with 35 points. Nearest the pins were Patti on 6, Kim Copland on 8, Art Howard on 10, Zac Hore on 13 and John Cameron on 17.
