Mossman Golf Club players had a good week with overnight showers and mostly fine days.

Tuesday’s Mens Stableford  was won by John Caswell with 43 points ahead of Peter Chrisfield with 40 and Art Howard 37 on a count-back to Graham Cook and John Cameron.
Nearest the pins – Brett Jurie on 6 & 10, Peter Chrisfield on 8 and Barry Brims on 13 & 17.

The 9 hole Sporters on Wednesday was won by Greg Walker with 21 points.

Thursday’s Ladies Stableford was won by Bette Wells with 36 points on a count-back to Glenda Christensen and in third place Patti Graham with 33 points on a count-back to Helen Gabour.
Nearest the pins – Leonie Phillips on 6, Glenda on 8, Kerri-Lynn Williams on 13 and Trish Landy on 17.

A great field of 62 players competed in the Port Douglas Weddings Monthly Medal, which was won by Des Graham with net 67, with runner-up Keith Gard with nett 69.
Gross winners – A Grade Daniel Coulthard 76, B Grade Steve Gray 85, C Grade Billy McCarthy 89.
Nett winners – A Grade Charlie Kadic 72, B Grade Matty Coulthard 70, C Grade Duncan Cunningham 69.
Nearest the pins – Antony Croser on 6, Brett Jurie on 8, Brett Deuble on 10, Brendon Wood on 13 & Keith Gard on 17.

In the Ladies Monthly Medal sponsored by Carly Q Hair & Makeup, the winner was  Patti Graham with nett 72, on a count-back to Yvonne Bochow and in third place Trish Landy with nett 75 on a count-back to Bev Cowe.
The putting competition was also won by Patti.

Sunday’s fine weather encouraged players to enjoy the course, and the winner was Des Graham with 40 points ahead of Jesse Hore with 37 points.
