This well-known local brother and sister duo will be launching their latest album 'Sand and Stone' at Tanks 5 on Saturday April 6th.

The McMenamins draw on alt-country and folk influences, using honeyed vocal harmonies, infectious melodies and often emotional lyrics.

They were first exposed to the limelight in 2005 when they recorded their debut album and wrapped up their first national tour opening for Missy Higgins.

Since then they’ve performed to crowds of thousands in large outdoor stadiums and supported the likes of Angus & Julia Stone, The Waifs, Ray LaMontagne, Jason Mraz, Toni Childs and Deborah Conway, just to name a few.

Having recently returned from their 2nd tour of America, the duo are fast making a name for themselves on the international scene and will join the ranks of many international artists at this year’s Bluesfest in Byron Bay.
