Mossman Golf Club players had a good week on the course last week. Here are all the latest results.

Last Tuesday’s Mens Monthly Medal, sponsored by The Pavillions Port Douglas, was won by Ken Deuble with nett 67 on a count-back to John Caswell. In third place was James Browne with nett 68. Nearest the pins wer Brett Jurie on 8, Laurie Prosser on 10 and Peter Chrisfield on 17.

Thursday’s Ladies Monthly Medal, sponsored by Lucy Giles, was won by Gayle Healey with nett 73 on a count-back to Virginia Goodall, and in third place was Treveen Page with nett 75.  The putting competition was won by Glenda Christensen. Nearest the pins were Kerri-Lynn Williams on 10 and Treveen on 17.

Saturday’s overcast conditions made for a pleasant temperature for players and the Stabelford event was won by Ben Gaske with 41 points ahead of James Doolah with 40 points on a count-back to John Norris. Nearest the pins were Barry Brims on 6, Laurie Prosser on 8, John Petherbridge on 10, Jeff Murray on 13 and James Doolah on 17.

In the Ladies event the winner was Julie Hooker with 34 points ahead of Lyn Heimann. Nearest the pin was Trish Landy on 13.

Sunday’s fine weather encouraged players to enjoy the course, and the winner was Casey Dunne with 42 points ahead of Kim Copland with 37 points. Nearest the pins were Julie Hooker on 8, Art Howard on 6 and 13 and Christie Bouwkamp on 17.
