Easter Bunny comes to town

The Easter Bunny came to Port Village Shopping Centre this morning (Easter Sunday) and the biggest crowd ever was there to welcome him.

The dancers from Bodies in Motion Dance School put on a sensational extravaganza for the masive crowds. Of course a wonderful show like this is essential to entice the normally shy Easter Bunny to make his annual appearance.

He's always a little reluctant to come and visit but the massive Port Douglas crowd of kids and their Mums and Dads were having such a great time and when the Bodies in Motion dancers showed everyone how to do the Easter Bunny dance he just couldn't resist hip hopping along to join in all the fun and hand out his big baskets of Easter Eggs.

During his visit the Easter Bunny demonstrated that he is indeed the 'Master of the hip hop' (or is it hopping hip?) and with his dancing crew he showed his moves to the delighted crowd.

The Easter Bunny stuck around for some time after all the festivities were over to make sure every kid got an Easter egg but once he was sure his job was done, he magically disappeaerd as fast as he had arrived.

Nevermind, Port Village Shopping Centre Manager, Helen Seale said, "Don't worry he'll be back next year and now he's seen such a huge crowd I'm sure he'll bring even more Easter eggs with him on his next visit".
