The weekend of the 16/17th we played in the pre-season cup at Cazaly's without a win but it was a 'good hit' out prior to the season opener against Centrals on Easter Thursday 28th starting at 6.30pm under the new floodlights.

We were only beaten by 2 goals in both games we had 18 players unavailable and 3 new recruits arrived this week. Talking about recruits there are a couple of boys looking for work. A plumber, airconditioning mechanic and a couple of labourers so please call if you hear of any work going.

Last Sunday we held our 200 club luncheon at Ramada. A good day and thanks to Ramada for a great meal. Good to see Nathan serving tables on Sunday giving up church for us members, eh?

There were several bottles of wine consumed and a laugh or two.
Next Wednesday 27th will be jumper presentation with a great Rob and Norm meal available. For those who missed the 200 club lunch , shirts and membership cards are available.  We also have singlets, hats, coolers etc for sale.

And so we come to the moment we've all been waiting for Thursday 28th is the grand opening season game. It will kick off at approx. 6.30pm and the 200 club luncheon will be held at 3/4 time of the reserves.(approx. 7.45 p.m)

Yes our first 200 club dinner. We will have two celebrity chefs preparing the dinner.  It will be a cracker of a night under lights so don't miss the action right through the night. The bar closes at midnight and then sleep in Easter Friday.
