Men’s Results

Social games were in full swing on Saturday with a great turnout of bowlers. There were some unexpected results with J Prammer and D Egan def. M Plummer and P Gorsuch 19-18, S Graham, C Dwyer and P Cleary def. G Wilmot and C Maxted 20-19, A Christie and Ted Pitt def. L Valentine and Doug Pitt 23-20, G Marsh and N Tesch def. G Bolton and D Blain 31-22, Dick Pitt and A Greig def. Zilly and E Smith 29-15.

Taking home the prizes were G McLean and Kiwi who defeated Hock Jnr and C Wills 31-10.

The championship competitions ramp up this weekend with fours on Saturday when G Bolton, Zilly, L Valentine and P Gorsuch will play P Jensen, Kiwi, E Smith and C Maxted.

Social bowls will be played as usual with all games commencing at 1.30pm. Social bowlers are reminded to register by 12.30 and dress regulations now apply to all so it’s time to dust off the whites for another season.

On Sunday, A grade single will commence at 9.00am with D Egan vs P Morrison, D Blain vs Kiwi and R Edwards vs P Cleary.

Ladies Results

Ten ladies braved the conditions and the winners were Greta Kessler and Glenise Sharp (w+3). Maria Mijo was the lucky raffle winner.
