The Douglas Netball Association started with lots of new and return players in the Junior and Senior first term competition at the Mossman Indoor Sports centre.  

The format for the first term is to organise, grade and develop teams over all age groups leading up to seniors. Juniors who have played, and new players, will train for half an hour then play games leading up to the competition in Term 2 where all teams will be finalised.  

The seniors will play in their established teams and new members and those without teams will be allotted a team. Once teams are finalised, grading will take place in readiness for the start of the fixture season at the beginning of Term 2.

It is not too late to join in either. Juniors and seniors are welcome over all age groups and divisions so if you have not played before it doesn't matter, come along and give netball a try. It is a fun and rewarding sport for all ages.

Format for next week
Juniors: Net Set Go (8/Under) 4pm to 5pm, 10/Under 4pm to 5pm, 12-16/Under 5pm to 6.30pm.
Seniors: Games at 6.30pm, 7.10pm and 7.50pm playing 2 x 15 minute halves at the Mossman Indoor Sports Centre.
