Travelling to play Barron River at Crathern Park, Trinity Beach, Muddies Green looked forward to their last qualifying match, especially after Tully forfeited the last round to favour another Muddies Green win and placing them top of the ladder as minor premiers.

Unfortunately a heavy shower of rain just prior to arriving at the ground saw water enter holes in the covers created by claws of the large population of local Wallabies and the match had to be abandoned.

This week is likely to see Muddies Green at home (TBC) to take on fourth placed Mulgrave Punjab for a One Day 30 over Grand Final position, that may well be deservedly against fellow DCA club team Muddies Blue, placed third currently…
