Everet Fine Jewellery in Macrossan Street had a window smashed and watches and jewellery stolen last night.

A small amount of blood was detected, and investigators will dust for fingerprints. Police told The Newsport CCTV footage identified a possible suspect and they are hopeful of a quick arrest.

It is not yet known the value of the contents stolen.
