DNA looking strong in 2013

The second week of Douglas Netball started in earnest with record numbers of Net Set Goers (8/Under) beginners to the game.

Coached by Allison Richardson, the new players are learning skills and having fun. The 10s are also on court training for half an hour and then playing games.

This leads on to the 12/under age group who are all looking like naturals to the game. A little bit of experience from last year's season and they are back to netball with gusto.

It's great to see many players in the 14-16/Under age group getting together and forming teams with their friends. The competition is building to be worth watching in weeks to come.

The Seniors have seen the return of the Crocs Club with three teams - the RingIns, Gunnars, Cougars, Young Jets and Breakers, and some new teams have arrived including the Jammiedodgers, and Ramada.

The junior team Dynamite has stepped up to play in the Seniors this year and will be coached by Cassandra Hill.

The season is shaping up to be fun and competitive over three divisions to suit all playing levels.  If you are interested in playing or a first timer in either Junior or Senior Divisions come along and try out and become a part of this great association.
