Six people are lucky to escape serious injury after a car crash in the Daintree in the early hours of Friday, December 13.

Mossman Police say the accident happened when the driver, a 31-year-old Mossman man, failed to navigate a right hand turn on Stewart Creek Road between 12.30am and 1am.

All six people in the car were taken to the hospital for observation and the driver’s blood was taken for analysis.

The investigation is ongoing.
